Abstract
The evaluation of Higher Education in Mexico is undergoing changes with the new Higher Education Law and the SEAES. Educational evaluation faces significant challenges. This essay reflects on three key challenges: institutional pre-evaluation, on-site evaluation, and evaluation results. Currently, the SEAES seeks to make evaluation a process aimed at continuous improvement, beyond a mere administrative procedure. Therefore, evaluation bodies play a fundamental role in guiding and supervising evaluation strategies that incorporate essential criteria such as inclusion, quality, and equity throughout the entire educational process.
