Abstract

This essay examines the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in psychologist certification, highlighting benefits such as increased efficiency and objectivity. It addresses technical, ethical, and legal challenges, emphasizing the need for hybrid models combining AI with human supervision. Transparency, fairness, and data protection are key pillars for responsible implementation. Although certification of psychologists is not mandatory in Mexico, international experience in this area may be useful to the country when it is regulated.
