Abstract
The frecuent drug use can produce disturbances in executive functions, affecting the mental health of the people. The main objetive of the study was to compare the performance in the evaluation of the executive functions between students with tobabco use, weed comsumers and no drug users. For that the BANFE-3 was used, also an initial interview with questions about the sociodemographic status and general health status, for determinate the drug use the ASSIST test, the CAST test and the Fagerström test were used. A total of 30 participants were evaluated, 10 control participants, 10 tobacco users and 10 weed users. In the results, was found a lower performance in the inhibitoty control and decision making in the group of weed users. In regarding to the tobacco users the time of using was correlated with a lower performance in the verbal fluency and visuospacial memory.
