Abstract
Cannabis and tobacco co-use is a social and health problem, permeated by a low perception of risk; this phenomenon has been observed in countries where there is greater social acceptability derived from legalization and has generated a low response to seeking treatment. The objective of this work was to identify and analyze the risk perception, consequences of their use and the reasons for seeking treatment. A study was carried out with a qualitative approach where eighteen dual users were interviewed; the interviews were analyzed through content analysis. Participants reported a lower perception of risk for cannabis use, difficulty identifying negative consequences of their use, as well as a lack of interest in stopping dual use.
